Seven years ago my daughter, Kate, moved her business to Eagleview Town Center.  She has since expanded Blue Buddha Healing Arts and has moved her residence to the Town Center, fully embracing this community.  Through Kate’s introduction, Ivy has been involved in some of the events at Eagleview and for the month of March, Le Garage Wines will be back!

Eagleview Town Center is an afternoon worthy destination and the small businesses there present as a community.  It is through this community that I met Eric Yost.  Eric is a long time Chester County resident, CEO, and Executive Chef at Suburban Restaurant and Beer Garden. About Chef Eric Yost

I first got to know Eric when he came to crush at the invitation of Kate, who often brings friends and co-workers to experience the winery.  He sorted through and crushed grapes, he helped clean crush equipment, and stayed afterward to sit by the fire, drink wine, and joke with some of the crew.  Eric is an extraordinarily down to earth, smart, kind, and funny guy and I’ve considered him family ever since.

Suburban sits at the corner of “Restaurant Row” across the boulevard from The Blue Buddha in Eagleview.  The inside of the restaurant is casual, with floor to ceiling windows surrounding two sides.  The outside beer garden has a large tastefully paved area which wraps from the front to the side of the restaurant.  It has barrel tables intermingled with wrought iron tables and heaters.  There is a soothing warmth to the beer garden.  It is a lovey, comfortable place to sit outside, sip on a drink, and eat some great food. There is also entertainment for people watchers as there is a park right across the lane from the restaurant.

The park is small, has young trees, walking paths, a fountain, and while mostly a peaceful and serene place, it is sometimes quite lively with farmers markets, live music, and events held for the residents of the community.  At some of these events you can find Ivy parked under the trees and wine being served.  Eric has played an integral part in getting her invited into this community where we feel a sense of belonging.   

On the back side of the restaurant, just up the hill is not to be forgotten.  There are many small businesses in that row that are worth frequenting.

A perfect afternoon in Eagleview Town Center, in March, would begin with a massage or a yoga class at the Blue Buddha, then meander across the boulevard to the stores up the hill from restaurant row.  Take in some of the shops and then back down the hill to Suburban Restaurant and Beer Garden for a meal paired with Le Garage Wines.  During the month of March, Eric is spotlighting our wines which means, once more, Ivy will be parked within the community of the Eagleview Town Center.
